Gloria enjoyed gardening and cooking, online classes and road trips with her daughter. Her favorite thing was spending time with her granddaughter and taking care of her dog, Luna.
She is survived by her children: Astrid Castro and Jorge Castro; granddaughter, Jasmine Smith; siblings: Libia Ruiz and Jorge Perez; nephew, Fabian Chavez, niece, Sandra Madrigal and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Israel Maldonado.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park on Friday, March 22nd from 12:00 to 4:00 pm with the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Interment will be private.
