Henry Ellis Rosenquist

Henry Ellis Rosenquist peacefully passed away on Friday, March 2 at 2:00 AM surrounded by his loving family. Born in 1922, he was raised along with his two sisters and two brothers by his Swedish-immigrant parents on a sharecropping farm in Maryvale, Missouri. Despite his humble beginnings, he obtained a B.S. degree as well as an M.B.A.; he joined the U.S. Airforce and retired at the rank of Major; and he had a wonderful twenty-five year career with the U.S. Foreign Service which took him and his family around the world. He enjoyed a marriage of 61 years to the love of his life, Billie Jean Hensley, who passed away just last year. During his retirement, he wrote a memoir of his early life titled: A Promise Kept. He is survived by his two daughters, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Major Rosenquist will be laid to rest with honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
