“Life is a beach, I’m just playing in the sand.” - Lil Wayne “Right Above It”
Ilea Rouse was a free spirit whose birth rang in the new year. Her nickname “Brat of the Beach” perfectly described her unfiltered personality. She enjoyed taking her dogs to “the spot”, listening to rap music (especially Lil Wayne), and going out for pizza and cannolis with her favorite (only) son, John. Ilea was memorable, often seen around town with three dogs on leash (all wanting to pull her in different directions), an oversized purse in one hand, and a 100 oz 7-Eleven cup in the other.
She is survived by her father David, children (John, Serena, and Rebecca), grandchildren (Jade, Zane, Daxton, Kiran, and Olivia), dogs (Butters, Kahlua, and Keanu), cats (Izzy and Marissa) and countless friends from AA, the dog park, local Fort Myers convenience stores, and more. She will be missed.
