Irene McClain

Irene is predeceased by her parents, Gus George and Kathryn Marie (Mavromatis) Frankis; her son, Dustin L. Thomas; and her siblings, Maria Brown and Billy Frankis.

Irene is survived by her loving husband, Ronald McClain; her children, Michael Thomas, Ronald McClain Jr., and Angela Dawn McAlexander, her grandchildren, D.J., T.K., and Riley.

Irene was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She met her husband Ronald McClain at General Motors in Kansas City, Kansas. They shared 23 of marriage.

Irene loved fashion and shopping. She was known for styling her outfits and her sophisticated style. She was also passionate about her faith and her family. Her desire for her family was to have very close relationship with each other, and this was a constant prayer for her. She always had a positive attitude and encouraged others to have one as well.

Irene also enjoyed spending her time with her husband Ronald going out to restaurants, enjoying live music, or just spending a quiet evening at home watching T.V. together. Irene and Ronald both enjoyed the simple pleasures in life especially the joy of just being together.

A Visitation for Irene will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 SR 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. A Funeral Service will occur Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:15 PM. A Graveside Service will occur Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, 12777 SR 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
