Isabel was one of eight children and shared a close bond with her siblings: Lupe Moreno, Esperanza Peña, Angela Ledesma, Pedro Moreno, Romana Moreno, María Moreno, and Rey Moreno. From a young age, she displayed a remarkable strength of spirit, a quality that carried her through life and defined the way she cared for those she loved.
In 1960, Isabel moved to Florida, where she worked tirelessly in agriculture to provide for her family. With resilience and determination, she faced every challenge head-on, always placing the needs of her children above her own. Her life was a testament to the power of a mother’s devotion, sacrificing, nurturing, and protecting with unwavering love.
She was the proud and devoted mother of Nidia Concepción, Nereida Concepción, and María Isabel Moreno, and the cherished grandmother of Malaynie Tello. Her greatest joy came from her family, and she instilled in them the values of hard work, compassion, and unity. Isabel’s love was the foundation on which her family stood, and her strength was their guiding light.
Isabel’s legacy is one of love, perseverance, and devotion. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her daughters, granddaughter, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 4th at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, located at 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
