Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family members during this difficult time. A caring and thoughtful person and physician. I'm sure there many stories in Davis County about his medical abilities. After he sutured our 5 year old son and after the young boy said, " Dr. Mincks I never want to see you again" the Dr. Responded " that's fine John I don't want to see you again either"

Jim was an amazingly warm and loving man! The way he loved his family has left a priceless legacy. He will be missed !

Jim was a true gentleman who loved his family as well as his extended family. You could always go to Jim when you needed help sorting issues out. He had a kind way about him and he would find good in most everything. When I heard of Uncle Jim's passing I couldn't crying. I am so blessed to have had him as my uncle...

I remember going with Uncle Jim to pickup a car that he had gotten air conditioning installed. That was the first time I had known of air conditioning in a car. That was in Bloomfield about 50 years ago. Uncle Jim was always being asked to share his medical advice no matter what. He lanced a spot on my face and advised about my sore knee. He was always willing to share. He was a great guy to have for an uncle. We love him and miss him but we will seem him again soon in that extravaganza in heaven.

Thank you Uncle Jim for all your love of family, faith and life. We will miss your great smile and those outstanding bow ties. Im truley honored to share the same name. Much love.

We will remember Jim for his willingness to help fellow Landings residents with a huge smile and a hug.
