Janet Louise (Stoutenburg) Campbell, 96, joined her husband, John Campbell, to be with the Lord on Monday, September 1, 2025. Janet was born in Lake Como, PA on Wednesday, September 26, 1928. She graduated from Honesdale High School. Janet married John on Friday, September 26, 1947.
Janet had a few jobs over the years, from factory worker to grocery clerk to day care teacher and more, while also being active in her church, including singing in the choir. She also helped her husband manage his electrical business. While she enjoyed them all, Janet considered her most important role was taking care of her family and praying over each of them. She enjoyed playing games with her family. Janet liked art and painted beautiful pictures.
Janet will be greatly missed by her children, Linda and George, her 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and two great great grandsons. Also her foster daughter, foster granddaughter, 7 foster grandchildren and friends. She is preceded in death by one grandson and one foster granddaughter.
