Jean Green

In celebration of a life well lived, Jean Green, 75 years of age, of Fort Myers, FL passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at HealthPark Hospital in Fort Myers. She was born in Chester, England on January 18, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Norman and Gwendolyn Wright, also of Chester, England.

Jean was trained as an RN at Clatteridge Hospital in Cheshire, England. She continued her nursing career in England, Toronto, Canada, Suffern, NY and the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. She was an active member of the Ramsey Volunteer Ambulance Corps. in Ramsey, NJ.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 54 years, Jeffrey; her daughter, Deborah and son-in-law, Ed of New Hampshire; her daughter, Susan and son-in-law, David of Fort Myers; a grandson, Ryan of New Hampshire; triplet grandchildren, Colin, Emma and Scott also of Fort Myers; a brother, Eric of Louisiana; a sister, Doris of Chester, England and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, August 15 at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 Fort Myers. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences can be made at www.legacy.com.
