On January 29th, Heaven opened up and the angles took home one of God's greatest, Joan H. Erickson. Her life touched many people. Formerly of Chicago IL, she had resided here since 1980. Joan and her husband Donald owned Erickson Reality for over 35 years and she loved cruising with Donald all over the world. Joan was a member of the Church of the Resurrection. She will be greatly missed by her fiancé Andy, her daughters: Denise (Steve) Hollister, Doreen (Mark) Galli, her sons: Kevin and Steven Erickson, and her grandson Eric. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Donald (2002) and daughter: Suzanne (2009). A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, FL 339191. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
