John Francis Knaff

John F. Knaff, 91 of Fort Myers passed away on February 5, 2022. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and children Therese (Brett) Ortengren ,and Jeanne (Donald) Leifheit as well as grandchildren Victoria and Courtney Ortengren and Brandon and Heidi Leifheit, great grandchildren Johnathan and Julian Calderon and Silas Ortengren, he also leaves a brother Dr. Leo Knaff. . He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Josephine Knaff , brother James Knaff, and his daughter Dr. Catherine Hartley.

John was a veteran of the U.S. army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in 1955 and attended St. Meinrad Seminary class of 1956. He was employed at the Simmons Company from 1956 until 1978 and was a partner with Sanibel-Marco island Properties.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Drive Ft. Myers , FL 33919 on Tuesday , February 15, 2022 at 10: 00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Masses, In John's name at St. Meinrad Archabby (address below) or your local Catholic Church.
