John W. Vittie, 87, of North Fort Myers and formerly of Margate, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born in New York on September 15, 1935.
He was a flight instructor in the US Navy. Following his discharge, he worked as a Master Electrician for over 40 years. He was known as a fun, laid-back friend to everyone and will be sorely missed.
John is survived by his children: Sandra (Andrew) Davis and John K. Vittie and grandchildren: Brian, Nick and Kevin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marge, daughter, Denise Vittie, his parents: Margaret and John Vittie Sr. and 3 siblings.
