Jorge Carrasquillo

Jorge was born March 14,1938 in Puerto Rico to Pablo & Narcisa Viera Carrasquillo.

Jorge is survived by his spouse, Ana Ruth Carasquillo; his children, Jorge Alberto, Reinardo, Edwin, Steve, Sandra, Rebecca, and Barbara; his grandchildren, Michael, Alyssa, Jessica, Christine, Rachel, Adolfo Jr., Lee, Stevie, Nathan, Lorenzo Jr., Natasha, Meghan, Ashley, Edwin, Nathalie; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Adam, Luke, Zayn, Gianna, Evie, Zaiden, Leo, Mikah, Haddie, Arrianna, Dominick, Ezra, Aliyah, Carol, Anayeli, Amelia; his siblings, Maria, Paulito, Pablo, Jose Angel, Felo, Josefina, Gean, Mercedes, Juan Ramon, Porfirio; his family members, Celeste Carrasquillo, Carol Carasquillo, Linda Freytes, Michael Scroggie, and Lorenzo Jenkins.

Jorge’s faith in God was his foundation and his first love. One of his favorite scriptures was Psalm 121. Jorge was a teacher at the Biblical Institute of Miami, Florida. He was a talented writer and was the author of two books. He was an avid guitar player and loved to sing and compose music.

A visitation for Jorge will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
