Joe was a gifted musician, a free spirited, gentle soul with a kind heart and a personality larger than life. His talent, intelligence and passion were beyond measure and his beautiful smile and hearty laugh was contagious. He was a father who loved his children, Megan, Tyler and Jessica more than anything else in this world. He was affectionately called “Grandpa Joe” by his amazing grandchildren Andrew, Dominick, Lilly, Sophia, Noah, Mia, Anna, Amelia and Tatum. They were his pride and joy and he saw greatness in each of them. His dad and stepmother, Ernie and Anna were more than parents to him. One of his favorite things was spending summers in Vermont to be closer to them and his cousin Ed who he lovingly referred to as his “brother”. He was a musician his entire life and loved playing, writing and producing music. His bandmates, past and present, were his family, and he loved all of them with the passion he played with. His wife Karen of 16 years was his best friend. Together they conquered anything they set their mind to. They were a perfect match in every way and Joe loved her with his whole being. And while he leaves behind what seems to be an entire world of people who loved him dearly, nothing can compare to what he felt about all of you. Son, father, grandfather, husband, friend, legend. Gone too soon. Always in our hearts. Forever loved.
A Celebration of Life for Joseph will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Stet's Bar, 1926 Winkler Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
