

Juan “chu” Morales, 86 passed away peacefully at his home on Friday November 8th 2024 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 17th 1937 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Jacinto Morales and Francisca “Pancha” Morales Santiago but raised by his grandparents Juan “Quinto” Santiago Martinez and Adela Velez Santiago Martinez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Lenora C. Morales (Taylor). He had three daughters: Adela M. Morales, Nelida Rodriguez (Morales), Lisa J. Lopez (Morales) and one son Edwin Morales including thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild
Juan was brought to Milwaukee, Wisconsin by his father and grandfather to live with his beloved Aunt and Uncle Luz Maria Santiago and Pablo Santiago.
Juan was a machinist at Milwaukee Valve Company for 37 years and retired in 2000. He then moved to Alva, Florida in November 2000. He had a love for cars and creating his own unique inventions.
We “The Family” are at peace knowing he lived his best years in what he loved. Heat, palm trees and his hammock.
Gone but never forgotten
A visitation for Juan will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913. The funeral will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM followed by a graveside service at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
