Karen Ann Myers

Karen Ann Myers, a beloved resident of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on October 23, 1974, Karen was known for her heart of gold and her vibrant character.

Karen is survived by her son, Noah Myers; her brother, Richard Lee Higgs; her sister-in-law, Kathryn Lipscomb; and many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She also leaves behind amazing lifelong friends, especially Dawn Sands, who was her friend for 42 years and Brenda Keeny another dear friend of hers. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kaitlin Dye; her mother, Betty Mae Purvis; her twin sister, Kathryn Purvis; and her brother, James Lipscomb.

Karen had a deep love for butterflies and the beach, and she was known for her exceptional cooking skills, able to cook anything and everything. Her love for animals was evident, and she was a devoted caregiver.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, located at 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, Florida, 33913. The service will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm. A Reception will follow the service from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Karen's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
