Kate Amundsen

Kate Amundsen 1981 – 2022 Kate Amundsen of Estero departed this life on Monday, August 1, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Long Island, New York. Kate graduated from Oneonta State College. She was an Elementary School Teacher and Volunteer. On July 11, 2009, she was married to Nicholas Amundsen. In addition to being a Mom, Kate enjoyed RV Camping, Disney, Flowers, Family and Cooking. Kate is survived by her husband, Nick Amundsen; son, Zachary Amundsen; father, John Curran; sister, Jeanne Freymoyer and her dog, Diesel. She was preceded in death by her mom, Megan Curran. A Celebration of Kate’s Life will be in the Long Room of Shangri-La Springs, 27750 Old 41 Rd, Bonita Springs, FL 34135. Valet Parking is recommended.
