Kim Jeanne Foster

Kim is the oldest daughter in a family of five raised in Milwaukee/West Allis Wisconsin. She was active in the church at Holy Assumption, a gifted student, participated in gymnastics and did some catalogue modeling, graduating from Nathan Hale High School in 1978.

She traveled back-and-forth between Florida and Wisconsin in her early 20s where she fell in love with the sun and sand. She eventually settled in Lehigh Acres at 1997, working for almost 20 years as an optician with Eye Centers of Florida in the Southwest Florida area including Immokalee, Labelle, Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres; retiring in 2018.

She has four children: Ryan (Crystal), Miranda (Josh), Kailey and Kambrie along with four grandchildren Madison, Mabel, Olivia and Josh whom she adores and they love her to the moon and back. "Gigi" is now forever their guardian angel, may she watch and protect them as they grow.

She is preceded in death by her father Richard Jon, older brother Kurt and youngest sister Kandace. She is survived and greatly missed by her mother Mary Jane, sisters Kari and Kristine (Bob). She has extended family and large group of friends in Wisconsin, Florida and everywhere in between with beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her loss leaves a huge void in our hearts and game nights, as she always added an edge of fun and inclusion to all gatherings she was a part of.

Kim made friends with all she met, going out of her way to help someone or offer a sympathetic ear. She was the kind of woman you would meet you on Thursday and help you move on Saturday. She is greatly missed by her family and friends and her infectious smile and signature laugh will be remembered for a long time to come.
