

He is preceded in death by his parents, and In-laws, Royce, and Betty Locke.He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lori Locke, his devoted daughter, Stefanie Petrucci-Hills, cherished grandsons, Branden and Kortney Frazier, loving sister Roni May, Brother -in-laws Sam May and Tracy Locke, niece Jenna, Nephews Ryan and Scott May along with other relatives and dear friends.
Lee graduated from Wirt High School in Gary, Ind and earned his bachelor’s degree in Theology from Central Bible College in Springfield MO. While earing his degree, he traveled with gospel group The Envoys and performed in churches around the country. He spent 7 years pastoring Faith Temple in Gary, Indiana after the passing of his Pop, which founded the church and pastored before him. After he left Indiana, he spent years on the road traveling with gospel greats such as Coy Cook and the Premiers and his childhood idol Jake Hess. He also played the piano, sang, and preformed comedy around the country and on several military bases with The Blackwood Singers and was a regular on the Grand Ole Opry with Billy Walker. He was signed with Capital Records and one of his songs was recorded and performed by Connie Smith upon her induction to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Lee left professional show business in the 80’s where he settled in Ft. Myers Florida, met his wife, and went on to owned Petrucci Pianos. He taught numerous, cherished students for over 30 years until he retired and continues to be an in-demand performer and magician all over Florida. He even created one of the greatest and bestselling magic tricks to date performed by David Copperfield on Oprah and The Penn and Teller Show.
A Celebration of Lee's Life will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, Florida 33913 on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00PM. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning at 12:00PM. Interment will be on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 12:30PM at the Linden Cemetery, Webster, Florida.
