Leo Pierre Lemieux, 87, of Fort Myers, FL passed away Jan. 23, 2018. He was born in Pawtucket, RI the son of Joseph and Germaine (Riendeau) Lemieux. Mr. Lemieux was owner of Lem’s Caterers of Pawtucket, RI. Before retiring he was employed by Brown University Bio Med Accounting. He was a daily communicant of the Church of the Resurrection of our Lord. Leo was a member of the Brothers in Christ of St. Cecilia Catholic Community. He was a Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn R. (Feeney) Lemieux; a brother, Roger E. Lemieux of Venice, FL and a sister, Madeleine I. Kimball of Rocklin, CA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, January 30th, at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, 8121 Cypress Lake Dr., Fort Myers, FL. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Masses in his name would be appreciated or donations to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Cir. Fort Myers, FL 33908.
