

Born Lois Adelle Weaver on January 20, 1927 to Henry and Ada Weaver Fieldsboro, NJ, Lois lived a long life full of love and adventure. She is most well know by those who knew her for skipping Bordentown High School in Bordentown, NJ on the very day the school burned in January 1942 causing no end to the grief of her teachers and parents until she rode up on her bicycle asking what happened. Following WWII, she married John Francis Hunt, and raised two daughters in and around New Jersey and later, when the family moved to Fort Myers, FL in 1958, where she resided until her Death September 8, 2024.
As indicated, Lois had a full and happy life, enjoying sun surf, cruising and travel throughout much of the world. She was preceded in death by three husbands: John Hunt, Bill O'Neill, and James W Carrie; and Her grandson Stephen Maddix. She is survived by her daughters: Terry Crow (Max), Shirley Maddix (Ron), Granddaughters: Dawn Dial (Steve), Shannon Morrison (Christopher), and Michele Maddix (Corey) and Grandson: Edward Crow along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
