My name is Bonnie Bergdoll and I am a long time member of the Lois Copeland fan club. I first met Lois when I was asked to be on the ladies golf team at Hinsdale Golf Club. I was lucky enough to be her partner for my first match of interclub play. She recognized my nervousness and suggested I leave everything up to her and throughout the match she was encouraging and supportive.  That was the beginning of a long time friendship.  Lois was an inspiration for me from then on.  She introduced me to Duplicate bridge and became one of my favorite partners.  Together we traveled to tournaments and both became eventual Life Masters.
John and Lois were responsible for our buying a place in Florida.  They also introduced us to the joys of cruising the world.  What great travel companions they were and what wonderful memories we have of our trips together. Lois was probably the most talented, versatile and companionable women I have ever known.  I will miss her dearly for she enriched my life immeasurably just by being in it.  Bob and I send our love  and deepest sympathy to John and all the family.
