Surviving are her daughters Stacie (Jay) Layne and Jaime Layne, sister Dorothy (Bart) Hoemann, brother Lawrence (Kathy) Jaeckel, grandchildren Austin Campbell, Justin Layne and Lillie Layne, and her beloved friends “Mali,” “Monte,” and “Boo.” She had a host of nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 at St Michael Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Jon Zehnder. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 at the church. Following the services, a Reception will be held at Cru Restaurant beginning at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials be made to Gulf Coast Humane Society, 2010 Arcadia Street, Fort Myers, FL 33916
