We had a chance to know your parents when your dad called our home and asked if we were looking for help at Quizno's. A new Quizno's was opening and your dad was recently retired, and looking for a part-time job. That part-time job created a true friendship with your parents. They both were very special people. It was sad that they both had so many health issues near the end of their lives, but it is a blessing that they are not suffering any longer now that they are in heaven. We will cherish the memories that we have of Bev and Mike.     Jill and John Theos, Ft. Myers, Fl and Laona, Wi.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I was hoping to visit with your dad when I got to Punta Gorda in January.

We share your heartache with the passing of your Dad.  After talking with him after Mom's passing, I could sense the emptiness in his heart.  I'm certain he willed to be with her again, and he was granted that final wish.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the passing of your father, I served with him on the South Bend Police Dept., and had a great deal of respect for him and his service to the city of South Bend.

My parents and I lived next door to the Borkowski's on Whitcomb Ave in South Bend.  My Dad, then Police Chief Irvin Hampton, knew of Mike's interest in joining the dept.  When we moved to Florida in 1964, we gave my Nash(?) pedal car to their son Brad.   My deepest sympathies for your loss.
