

Michael was born in Utica, NY on October 27, 1949, to Helen and John Fullem and was the oldest of six children. Graduating from the University of Maryland, he spent his career working for the federal government at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Rockville, MD. This is also, where he met his current wife, Helen Horn.
Michael was a devoted father to his three children (Dan, Cristin, and Megan) with his late wife, Mary Moult. He is survived by his wife, Helen Horn of 20 years, his children Dan Fullem (Alex) Cristin Fullem (Andy) and Megan Matthews (Jon); his grandchildren (Olivia, Emma, and Tommy), his stepdaughter Sarah Thiessen (Joseph), his step grandchildren (Hannah, Taylor, Heidi, Charlotte and Clara) and his younger siblings (Kathy, Karen, Maureen, Terry, and Mark), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Michael was passionate about his entire family. He loved being with them outdoors, spending many family vacations at the beach, reading, biking, and swimming. He loved a good crab feast in Maryland and being in the sunshine in Florida. He had a kind heart and loved his family deeply. He was tenderly devoted to his wife Helen.
He was greatly loved and will be missed deeply by all that knew him.
