Mikey was a dear fiend to me and Godfather to my daughter Jodi. I just want to wish Jean and all the family my sincere condolences.I know Mikey is at peace because of his total commitment to God. Mikey will never be forgotten.

I met Mikey when I was about 10 years old through Chris. I have always looked up to both of them as the big brother I never had. In my later years when I moved to Sarasota and reconnected with the family, Mikey was not only a big brother then but filled the role of an advisor/somewhat like looking up to my dearest father that I lost at the age of 22. He was kind, compassionate, always had the right advice for any situation from personal to problems with my home repairs. He was a wonderful person and a role model. He will be deeply missed. On behalf of my emmediate and extended family, we offer sincere condolences to Michael's family on the occasion of his unexpected passing.May God give you all the strength to carry on.
Mikey was like my own brother, we lived in Harbour View, went to the same High School and did all the things that teenagers do together. Myself, Chris and Mikey were always seen together, so much so that people began to call us "THE THREE MUSKETEERS' and that friendship has endured over the years of us all becoming Husbands,Fathers and Grand Fathers.
It was sure a shock to me when Chris called me at home to give me the sad news, I was in shock for awhile, but soon recovered and realised that God knows best and He has a reason for everything.
So many memories of our days growing up together has flooded my mind in the days since his passing but they were all good memories cause we were blessed with good Parents and had a wonderfull childhood.
Mikey or "VISION" as we called him, will forever be in out hearts and minds and I'm so grateful that he was my friend.
May perpetual light shine down on Mikey and may his soul reat in peace.

My Deepest Condolences to Jean, Rachael,Chris,Moses & Kristi.
I met Mikey in the early 60s - We lived next door to each other, we attended the same School, We were in the same class we were just like brothers and shared the same love of music. Mikey having had previous musical training could pretty much manage to get a melody out of any instrument. But his speciality was the trombone and boy oh boy did we know it when he would start rehearsing on a Saturday morning. During a High School Football practice match, Mikey made a miraculous pass behind him, to a fellow team-mate that resulted in a goal being scored. After the match he was highly praised and from that point onward he was referred to as "VISION" that name stuck with him until now. 
Mikey was always a very respectful Son to his parents and to the lord. I know one day we will meet again, but until that time.. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Condolences to Mikeys Family, In The 60;s part 70"s   I and all my bros grew up with Mikey we were neighbors  and freinds. Mikey was the most optomistic kid ever. and loved music, so he fit right in to our mish mash of interests. we used to go far and wide on school Holidays by walking to Big Sea Side of Palisadoes Rd, or go above the view to see Author "Ian Fleming "s, James Bond, Dr. No location by Carib Cement road  filming  scenes with  Sean Connery in his Sunbeam Alpine. 
Gunboat beach. The airport sometimes , or Rockfort Mineral Springs,  or Martello Tower fortificaton  a 17th century solid rock outpost. or we thumbed a ride...
We even used to go to old airport and sit in an abandoned
B25 mitchell Bomber and pretend we were flying it, That didnt last long unfortunately, It was used for rescue and fire practise by airport Fire brigade. Take it easy mike 
all the best Forgot to mention Mr Vision was also a stand up comic entertaining our neighbors along with our second oldest brother .

My sincere condolences and prayers are sent to the family of Michael Anthony Peart.  I met Michael years ago while I was visiting my aunt Madeline Stewart in Jamaica.  Though I met Michael approximately 40 years ago, I fondly recall his winning smile, winning personality, laughter and kindnesss.  I know Michael is at peace in the company of God.  I will continue to keep Michael and his family in my daily prayers.
