Dick and Family, we are so very sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful wife and mother. Dick and Mona attended our wedding in 1982 and a year never went by since then, that we didn't get a wonderful anniversary card reminiscing about that day. I always looked forward to catching up a bit on the Ladner family in her letters at Christmas time as well.  
 Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Ok , we’ll try this again. Oh Mona, as we say in Texas,” what a piece of work you were.” From the day we first met, I loved ya’. You were and will always be a gracious lady and a kind soul. I feel honored that I got to call you my mother-in-law for some 15 years. Did we ever have some good laughs and shared a few tears. The beach house visits were the best. Getting to have all the kids with you, you were in your glory. We all know the Lord has had a special seat for you that only you could fill. We are heart broken that you’re not with us in body but your spirit surrounds us still and we know you are safe and without pain and that gives us comfort. You told me once “ thank you for getting my daughter back to me”! It was not hard, she reminds me of you everyday.  I bet my father was glad to meet you, please give him a hug for me.

Dick, Joe, Maureen, Jim, Sheila and all who loved this beautiful soul, I am so very sorry for your loss and you're all in my thoughts and prayers.  Hugs Mona had a joyful and contagious smile. She'll be missed deeply.

So sorry to hear  this.  Dick  was my manager for many years at HP.   I  always enjoyed the friendship of Dick & Mona.  My condolences to the family.
