

She attended Kimberly High School where she was an avid tennis player who played in the state tournament and continued playing throughout her life. She attended Mercy Medical Center College in Oshkosh, WI. Her career started as a nurse and writing an infection control manual to becoming one of the best nursing home administrators in the State of Wisconsin. She ran several nursing homes for many years. Her love for the elderly showed through by getting to know every resident and made sure they were well cared for and happy. She took pride in her work and after retiring to Ft. Myers, FL she continued helping elderly neighbors. Her cup was always half full and her positive attitude was contagious. She and Lee loved to travel and spend days at the beach. Her travels included several trips to the U.S. Open in New York and many countries throughout the world.
She is predeceased by her daughter: Jodi Never. Nancy is survived by her loving husband Lee of 32 years and their blended family. Nancy’s two daughters: Laura (Rocky) Marcantonio and Nannette Stapleton. Her two grandchildren: Audrey Stapleton and Charlie Stapleton. Her step children: Gerri (Tom) Clements, Jeff (Wendy) Rutten, Jennifer Schultz, as well as their nine grandchildren: Mathew Clements, Hailey Clements, Ben (Alyx) Clements, Maia Clements, Derek (Jordan) Rutten, Alex (Kaely) Rutten, Blake Rutten, Madison Schultz and Payton Schultz and five great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Gordon (Lois) Zillges.
