He was born to parents Luis and Maria Hernandez on February 26, 1950, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. After high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Flor, his mother Maria, his son Luis and many other family members.
His viewing service will be held at Hodges Funeral Home in Fort Myers on Sunday, May 2nd, between 3pm and 7pm. Burial will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery, on May 4th at 2pm.
