Paul was a loving husband to Ann Marie for 50 years. Loving Father of Jayar (Becky) and preceded in death by his son Andrew and brother-in-law Donald. Also survived by his siblings: Mark (Leda), Jeffery (Sheri), Gregory (Annette), Ward (Peggy), Shawn (Alan), Keith (Kim) and Kirk (Amy); Brother-in-Law to Lee, Mike, Susan (Jim), Janice (Jim), and Laura (John); loving Grandfather of Sophia and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Paul was a kind and giving man with a positive attitude. Quick with a smile, and a twinkle in his blue eyes as he loved to tease and bring about laughter!
Paul graduated from Oakland University with Honors and served in the Army as a Military Policeman. He was an excellent Marksman who won several medals in shooting competitions at the Sportsman Club. He worked and retired from General Motors for 30 years.
Paul lived a happy life! He loved golfing, biking, hunting and fishing and filling the freezer full of wild game. He was accomplished at woodworking, creating furniture and knickknacks, and the remodeling of our home. Paul was a great Handyman who had a keen eye for detail and he loved the challenge of learning new skills.
Paul enjoyed tinkering in the garage, rebuilding and fixing cars and was often seen out driving in his Corvette or Alpha Romeo. He very much enjoyed taking road trips with our car clubs.
His presence will be truly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who loved him.
