Richard James Swift Sr.

He was the beloved husband of Deborah, married for 43 years, loving father of Rick (Carolyn) Swift Jr., and most loved grandfather of Margaret Adele (Maggie) and Richard III (Ricky). He is also survived by his siblings, Janet (Terry) Carey, Michael Swift, Sheila (Don) Cox, Elmer Swift, and Orville (Bernadette), as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

He loved his family and taught them the value of hard work and unconditional love. He had a special ability to tell stories and loved to make people laugh.

He was in RV sales for over 25 years, most recently as General Manager of Camping World. He loved the people he worked with and the customers he served.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33919. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Golisano Children's Hospital.
