He married Angella J. Francis in Miami in 2002. He worked for Elite Electric in Fort Myers.
Rickey was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Newton Jr. and Annie Mae Brown.
Rickey is survived by his wife Angella J. Newton; his children: Troy Anderson, Sivahn Anderson, Nathaniel Newton, Aviana Newton, and his grandchildren: Jayden Anderson, Josiah Anderson, Jordan Anderson.
Rickey was known for his unwavering faith in God and his true love and devotion for his family.
A visitation and service will be held on at Fort Myers Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3451 Ortiz Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33905 on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 10 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
