Robert Perry Ryan

Robert Perry Ryan was born in Saginaw Michigan on January 11, 1937, to Edmund Colbert Ryan and Susan Shorts Ryan. He resided in Flint Michigan until he retired to Sanibel Florida. He was married fifty-six years to Rosemary Agnes Kominek. He taught for the Flint Educational System for thirty years. He served in the National Guard. He held degrees from the University of Michigan including a Doctor of Philosophy in Education. He was active in Habitat for Humanity in both Michigan and Florida. He enjoyed Current Events at Big Arts on Sanibel. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Perry Ryan II. He is survived by two sons, Chris Ryan (Maryori) whose children are Mary Ann Rose and Patrick Hugo, and Thad Ryan whose children are Hunter Perry, Jack B. and Lily Marie. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 7th, in the chapel at St.Columbkille Catholic Church, 12171 Iona Rd, Fort Myers. The Mass to celebrate his life will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday at St. Columbkille Church.
