We only know one of your children but if the others are anything like her,  (Nancy). Then You and Your Wife did a wonderful job raising them... May you enjoy your time with the Father and know that there are a lot of good people up there with you... May God hold your Wife in his care for comfort till she can be there with you again.. Nothing can replace a Husbands arms.... God be with the rest of the Family also, as they need you for strength...

Tata you were not just my grandpa but you were my best friend.  I miss you already, you have no clue how much. I can still hear your voice calling me “Cucaracho”!  I will forever keep in my heart all the adventures, all the fights we use to have, me squeezing your nipples and you yelling at me. LOL  I will miss scaring you and making you jump. I will miss poking you in the indentation you had in your hip, I will miss giving you those wedgies that made you jump. Lol Mannnn I am going to miss all of you! 💔
I will always remember me growing up and going into your room and jumping on you just to get your attention.  Then we would watch “Stupid Dog” until bedtime. Stopping by your house will never be the same, since you will always wait for me outside when you knew I was around. Thank you for all the advice you gave me.  I knew it was going to hurt when you left this world, but I didn’t think it would hurt so much.  One thing is for sure and thats that I know you knew how much I loved you and I knew how much you loved me. I will always be your “Cucaracho” and you will forever be my Tata.

We are so sadden with the loss of our dear friend/brother Roberto!💔 Our condolences to the family! Eventhough we know we will see him again, it doesn't make it any easier but just the fact that he is no longer in pain and now watches over us, brings peace to our hearts! Roberto was one of the happiest & funniest person I ever met. I don't remember him ever being mad at anything or anyone. I met him around the 90's and thru all the years, he loved me like one of his own kids. He was so loving....I love you Roberto "Dad". So glad I got to see you in December. You will forever live in our hearts and your memory will live forever! Til we meet again! Rest easy! You were one of a kind!❤ 


I met this man in 1996 at the church he was a member along with his daughter Nancy Gonzalez at the time. We became inseparable from that moment on. In 1997 I became his Son in-law and he not only become my father in-law, but he became my best friend. He was my go to guy when ever I needed to learn how to fix something and man did I learn a lot from him. That was my partner in crime we did everything together. Many years after,  I became his Pastor and he was the lead musician in our church in New Jersey. After many years he left me in NJ and moved to Florida and I thought that was the worst day of my life. Then God allowed me to move to Florida and once again we were reunited like Batman and Robin. Once again I became his Pastor and we praised God together with our music. Today I find my self left behind once again because my dear Dad
 “ that’s what I always called him” Left me once again,  not because he chose to, but because God decided that Dad needed the rest.  I’m not mad at that because he knows best.  Dad I will never find a best friend like you anywhere and I will never let you go. You will live in my heart for ever and I will keep you alive with all the great memories we shared. Thank you for all them great times and laughters. You will be missed, but I will see you again. And don’t worry I’ll take good care of Nancy and the rest and your wife Myrna as best as I can . I love you Dad 💜

❤️I can remember our “science” projects and Dad sitting in the kitchen with a D battery 🔋 and copper wire strings- he’d carefully attach it to small metal pinchers. Then onto a potato 🥔 or a hotdog thus creating heat and cooking them within minutes...  or the few times he’d make us light a tea candle onto a plate of a thin sheet of water. 🥴 🕯  Then he’d make us put a clear long glass (or vase) over it-all the water would soak up because of the oxygen of the flame... but beforehand he’d ask us how we could “turn the flame out without blowing it out”? I remember the CherryDale Farms sales and how he’d get Peanut Brittle and Gummy bears 🐻  from us. (He’d be my/our only buyer) I remember my first trip to the Canadian border with him. And how hot and pregnant I was with my first daughter and how he’d buy me so much ice. Lol I remember all the videos he’d make of us as kids he always wanted to preserve our memories... I miss him... Rest Easy dad- hope you’re enjoying a full  🥁 “Beatles” and Christian 🎼 soundtrack in heaven! 

Our Tata was and will forever be loved! I remember when we would go over to his house and the first thing he would say was “Heyy jessielou!” I will never forget that . He was always soo happy and could always put a smile on our faces whenever he came into the room.  He was so goofy and full of energy :)  I remember buying him gummy bears and waiting for him to open them to ask him for some.  As a child we share so many memories like him taking my brother and I on a drive through  trials and us sticking our heads out of the  sun roof of his car.  Every Christmas morning my brother and I would wake him up by jumping on him and screaming “tata get up !! ITS CHRISTMAS!!” All of these memories I will forever have in my heart. god knew what he was doing And I am thankful that I have these wonderful times that I can remember with him. 

Nancy and family, (all)  I'm deeply saddened by your loss, but find relief that Roberto is no longer suffering and is rejoicing before the Father.  Praying for peace and comfort in the coming days.  In my thoughts and prayers: Doris
