Ronald Mark Walsh

Ronald Mark Walsh, 63, of Fort Myers passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was born in Chicago, IL, the son of the late, John & Elaine “Dolly” Walsh. Ron lived in Chicago, IL and Mobile, Alabama. He was married on August 1, 2014 to Mindy Gray Walsh.

Ron went to Fairhope High School and studied at Richard J. Daley College. He was Co-owner at Romin Company Inc. Ron was a journeymen carpenter with United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 62. He later became a Firefighter with the Chicago Fire Department and retired from there. He was also a member of the Chicago Axemen Motorcycle Club.

Ronald was preceded in death by brothers, Richard “Rick” and Michael Walsh. He is survived by his wife, Mindy; step children, Nicolas Gray, Alex and Meghan Gray, Barry and Cara Gray, Katherine Gray; brother, Lawrence Walsh; sister, Kathleen Michalski (Gregory); grandchildren, Charlotte, Olivia, Virginia and Addison Gray; nieces and nephews, Richard J. Walsh, Raquel Walsh (Chuck), Christine Alicea (Sergio) and Michael Walsh.
