Roy Allen Mize

Roy was a member of Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church. He was retired from General Motor’s in Pontiac Michigan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Roy enjoyed going to the beach, traveling and seeing the country with his wife Linda. He enjoyed sharing his life stories with all, his grandchildren especially loved hearing his stories. Roy was also an Avid Detroit Lions and Detroit Red Wings fan.

Roy is survived by his five children: Shelley (Bobby) Bethea of Virginia Beach, VA, Sherri (Kevin) Owen of North Fort Myers, Fl, Michael (Amy) Marcum of Bluffton, OH, Kimberly (Ken) Bradford of Apopka, FL and Diane (Joe) Freeman of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren: Katheryn, Destin, Andrew, Justin, Sophia, Jack, Nick, Tiffany, Joshua, Kristen and RJ, Lillian; 9 great grandchildren; his sister Janice (Bob) Grimes, his brother-in-law, Dale (Sandy) Aulgur.

Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee Mize, his grandson, Phillip Owen, his sister-in-law Joanne Cox.

A Graveside Service will be held at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, FL 33913 on Saturday, July 12th at 3pm
