Born in 1925 in Phoenix, Arizona, Ruth died a few days short of her 92nd birthday.
Ruth loved going to movies and watching them on the Turner Classic Movie channel. She enjoyed visits from her family, socializing with friends and eating good food, particularly, ice cream.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Boersma and Henry Van Beek. She is survived by five children, Cheryl Damiani, Jay Boersma, Cyndie Hoggatt, Bob Smith, and Rick Smith, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
