Shirley Elizabeth Rost

Shirley is predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Rost; her daughter, Linda E. Rost; her brother, Paul B. Gamm; her sister, Ruth G. Hautman; and her parents, Bernard H. and Mary A. Gamm.

Shirley is survived by her children, James R. (Debra) Rost, Thomas G. (Gina) Rost, and Mary E. (Jimmy Tillery) Vance; her grandchildren, Jolene, Shushawna, Asha, Dustin, Lee, Makenzie, Ryan, Coleman, Davis, and Krosley; 11 great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

Shirley worked at Lehigh Corp and then later retired from the Lee County Clerk of Courts after 12 years of service. Shirley enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, walking, and painting. Shirley donated hats and lap blankets that she crocheted to cancer patients. Shirley's faith rooted her and her obedience to God moved her to strive to pray four rosaries each day in addition to other prayers. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
