Today, I am thinking about you and Daddy. I dedicate this day to you. Mama, I miss you and our lunches along with our trips together. I miss my art partner and most of all our friendship. You still are the best friend I have ever had. You always looked out for me and listened. I miss our conversations about you and your experiences growing up. I hope that Tabby will write a book about you. If she is willing, I will illustrate. You lived a long and very interesting great life . You have such a spunky spirit that is held very close to my heart. I was told by a dear person, that I look good and as I age, I look more and more like you. Wow what a compliment. Our dear relatives in NY said I looked just like you. So, I am so happy. I am not fat anymore and that may be the reason I look like you. Because you always looked beautiful, slim and wore make-up. I even saw you with your lipstick on and pretty blue eye shadow even at the hospital after Jesus, Aunt Babs, Aunt Al, and Daddy took you to heaven. I love you always. I will cherish you and make sure your poetry is published with illustrations. You inspired me all of my life and still do. Rest my dear and Jesus is in both our presence. She is part pit bull and terrier mix. Mama, she has red hair, green eyes and freckles. She reminds me of you. She is brilliant. She took one of my drawing pens and drew all over my mattress. For my 60th i was treated like a queen. So much love I loved every moment of it. Jo and I celebrated together with Donna and Alex and so many family and friends. I am so blessed. Good Morning Mama and Daddy..Well, today marks another yr that Uncle Mr. J is in heaven with ya'll.
As you know, Jakie and Miss Sara were married on June 17th, 2015- @ 7pm on the beach at Treasure Is in St Petersburg, Fla..I walked my baby son down the isle- I am tickled pink for them. Hoping I can make Aunt France's 100th BD party in NY on the 15th of Aug. Tabby is preparing for Denny's up and coming hip replacement surgery July 22nd-(Joshua's birthday). I want to ask you to intercede for Daphne and Joshua, as they are so lost and I am so heart broken for my kids. Thank You, Mama..I know you will help me with them. I miss our talks-wishing you were here with me, laughing, talking, playing cards, and eating all the goodies we would shop for! I miss daddy so much also. I think of you two often..received a nice gift in the mail on Saturday from Kitty..she wnt to NC and hugged trees, sent me a framed pic of you hugging a tree-a clipping of your red hair in a little treasure box, and a flyer on where she was...I was so surprised! For the first time in recent memory I am having to work at maintaining a positive mental attitude. This past year, though challenging,  has been a time of great personal growth.  I know the person I will be when this phase is over will be... More.  More evolved. More grounded.  More balanced.  Wish you were here to talk with. I have only your voice in my head and the words I think you would say.  That's probably the point though. Your time on this earth made a huge impression on so many.  I have said that I want to be a positive force in the Universe and while I believe I had the right idea, I'm learning how to make that "idea" a reality.

Just wanted you to know , Evan is in college, paying his own way through working at Publix.  Pepper is still with us and mama, Evan and Lydia were voted prom king and queen. I love you so much. I miss you and daddy, Kathy, Pretty Woman and many more. But you my dear are glue that held our family together. Happiness comes from within when we had our last conversation on the phone as you were slipping away, you asked me to be happy. Without the Lord I would say no with him in my heart as #1- I can honestly say... I am getting there. LOL Miggie.

"Time Passages oh oh oh, time passages, find me a ticket on the next plane home tonight." I went home to Ohio with Evan and Steve wow so green our park is where we lived. Tabby,Denny Steve,Bean and I took a road trip to Silversprings saw Febbie,Aunt Frances and Nancy,Patty Lovely trip God's  Country. It was like we left earth and went to another planet. Those windmills mama wow! So surreal. Then, the gorgeous Letchworth Park. Wow. I love Denny and Tabby, they were so gracious and pleasant to stay with and travel with. I know Pretty Woman is with you as well as Opal. Went and saw Pretty Woman, she looked right through me I knew she wanted to be with you. I told her and Pill that I loved them . I held Pretty Woman's hand she held mine tight. But mama her eyes told me what she wanted.   That evening she went into a coma and as you know she is with you know with everyone in heaven. Well Frannie sure missis you. So much has been going on. Got to go to Tabby's God has been blessing me with blessing I know I don't deserve for I am a sinner. Need to get out to buy more cards...down on my back tho-transplanted trees and roses-also painted the bedrm ceiling. Jeremy visited w/us last wkend. He and Amber are moving to Arizona-near Flagstaff, where you were raised. Haven't heard about Jeannie lately-I keep sending cards and leaving messages..Hop usually keeps me posted. How is Daddy and Angel? I miss all of you so much. Evan from heaven is graduating in May. Mig is working so hard on the graduation party-th 18th. He expressed to me that he had wished you could be at his graduation. I held him for a long time and told him that you are in his heart and you will be walking across the stage with him to get his diploma. He graduates May 17. I find myself looking at things while out Christmas shopping and thinking, "oh, Gran would like that!" and then I remember... I don't get to buy you anymore presents.  I guess this just means my mom gets double, I know you would want it that way, I'm sure mom will be okay with it, and, well... it just seems like the right thing to do. 
I'm having my first annual cookie exchange party on Friday... I hope it goes well, I'm excited! 
I have little bits of yours and grandpon's Christmas decorations about... Shane picked up the angel holding a candle Grandpon made and the snowman... He said out loud, but kind of to himself, "these have been out every year since I can remember..."  Thank you for all the memories and traditions, we will treasure them always. I miss you bunches!

Hi mama It is me again. I decided not to go for the Golden Apple this year. I want this to be Evan's year. Maybe next year. The reason is because I do not want anything to be about me. I am humble not boastful person. I am lucky to be alive and more importantly, I need no recognition. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you. It is not my place to be boastful. I could not bring myself to fill out the form this year. As you know , I've been nominated every year for 20 years straight. That is good enough for me. I know that maybe someday, before I retire, I may bring myself to fill out the form but, life gets in the way. This year is Bean's last year of school and I want to be a shadow in the wind and put him in his senior year "lime light " I struggled with filling out the form and thought to myself yes, I can "win" but really, I don't need approval. I want to let this year go and be Evan's year. He struggled with his education and he deserves this. I will step aside in the midst of his final year in school and reflect on his accomplishments. In my opinion mama Bean is my reward and he was your and Papa's too. So- raise your glass in heaven full of the Holy Spirit and make a toast to your grandson. I love you and Daddy. Love, Miggie

Hi MAMA. I miss you bad. It is really rough. However, Bean has been a star. His touchdowns are for you and papa. He points to the sky whenever he makes a touchdown. He is a star. He makes the newspaper every week now. His coach is helping him get a scholarship. He may go to California or North Florida. Wherever he is recruited. He defined his way the last couple of weeks by playing outstanding wide receiver in football. He was a key player in promoting his team to the playoffs. His inspiration is you. Mama you would be so proud of Bean. I can still hear your voice- BEAN! Mama I hope you are having a great time in heaven. My life is fine but hard. Teaching is wearing on my every being. I just have my talks with God like you did and have Jesus teach me how to live right by you. It is working. I love you and Daddy. I miss you . Words cannot express the deep love I have for you. It is wider than the fields, deeper than the sea and higher than any mountain. I am going for Golden Apple Teaching Award this year in your honor. My principal is making me go for it. I got a letter from the director of the Golden Apple Teacher Recognition Program's CEO. She strongly encouraged me to go for it.It is the highest honor if I win. Because I will then be able to travel again and give lectures on teaching effectively. I know you are guiding me too. I have developed more of your inspiring spit fire ways. I do not let others get to me and I am fearless because that was the final thing you asked me to do is to be fearless. Therefore, I am . People can like it or they can lump it!!!!!!! I love you. As I stood in my kitchen gently folding one of your scarves that I had donned that chilly morning last week, I saw two cardinals, the male in the tree, starring intently at me, the female standing on the window pecking, squalking and obviously trying to get my attention.  I was overwhelmed by the feeling you and Grandpon were checking in on me.  It reminded me of the small framed poem with dried violets that you carefully handpainted with the words, "Pretty red cardinal sing and play, little Dally is two today." I still have it. The gold frame is worn from age, it hung on my bedroom wall near the light switch plate for so many years. Now it is neatly wrapped in recycled tissue paper, (you and mom taught me well, use what you have) placed in a box with treasures that money can't buy.  I hung a bird feeder in that tree. It may be my imagination that those pretty red cardinals were you and Grandpon, but I don't care, I still hope they visit me again soon so I can gaze at them.... you... and dream and play. When you said you were going to "fly away" is that what you had in mind? I miss MY Granny and my dear darlin' Grandpon.  You continue to be such an inspiration to me, and I KNOW you are proud of me. I often think of you when driving past your old home in Peninsula. I have many fond memories of you making me coffee and me perming your hair. I spent many happy moments of my child hood with Laura in your home.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine , you make me happy when skies are grey. I love you and miss my best friend and confidant. School is rigorous and unworthy of my hard work. I have artistic talent that I may use in a different direction. I ask the Lord for guidance everyday for 1 hour. He is in my heart and it shines better with him in it. I know now about the confidence that you tried to instill in me. It is now my biggest challenge. Letting go of Evan- Oh by the way mama He and his girl Lydia made cutest couple on the superlatives. He and Lydia won- 90 % of his fellow senior classmates voted for them. I am a proud mama. He works so hard- Studying, Working at Publix, and keeping up with Football. His team is not very good. So, no scholarship. That is ok. God has plans for him. I put his life in the Lord's hands. As I put my life in the Lord's hands. The rapture has not come yet. It may faster than we think. As the world's morals decay, we choose God. He will lift us up and one day- when God chooses, I will see you and Daddy again. If the rapture comes, Evan, Steve, Pepper and I hope we are lifted before the anti Christ comes. So, life now is hard but I look to God and Pray constantly or as much as possible at least I give him an hour a day also- I am looking at a Church that is really cool and caters to our youth. My favorite radio station is a Christian channel called Way FM. I love you to pieces and always will. Love Miggie

Hey Mama, Many still love and miss you. I for one do. My best friend and Evan's Godmother went to church to a great Christian Concert. No concert is worthy after seeing how many people love the Lord. You are there with him so is Daddy and Angie- along with everyone else in our family he took. You are there in Glory and the concert was beautiful best in this side of heaven. I love you . Debbie is retiring in December. I am so happy for her. She is still young and I hope she does everything she wants to do. Her condo and car are paid off so she is set. I am glad. She did it without a man. I really hope our dear Debbie will enjoy herself. She and I had a great time. Her parents are in heaven too. You probably know them. Hi Mama and Daddy, I received very sad news this morning. My Girl friend Dolly (Robby's)wife,passed at 10:30 this morn. I am just beside myself with grief. Robby is a mess. This is his 3rd wife that either passed or horribly disabled. Please pray for them Mama. Pray for all of us still "left behind" to try to cope with all the sadness and hardships this world is full of. I miss and love you so much. I wish you were here. It may be selfish of me-But I want you here with me and my sisters-all of our family and friends. As you probably know Mary K passed not long ago. Tabby just told me this a couple of days ago. I love you and took lots of pics of the Niche' before, during and after I made it pretty again. I hope you liked what I did on your doorway. Love you forever, the pick.

My Dearest Darlin' Granny,
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  I miss your letters to me, but I am able to find solace in my art room where I keep your bins filled with the correspondence you saved from your friends and loved ones.  I, too have kept every card and letter ever written to me and it brings me comfort to re-read your letters, as I knew it would one day.  I even have the notes you wrote to me when I was very small where you would tell me about your garden and what you were baking or describe a pretty bird that you saw. Many of my fondest memories are of time spent with you.  You would talk to me about the things that were important to you, give me advice regarding whatever was going on in my life at the time but most of all, you showed me how to live.  You taught me to use fine china every day and to eat with the good silver just because.  You shared your love of fine linens with me and I learned from you that you don't have to pay much to have all those beautiful things if you know how to treasure hunt.  Oh, the fun we had at kiwanis sifting through the dishes as we both spotted a dainty little tea cup tucked behind the gobs of junk and fast as lightning you would reach out and grab it, look me right in the eyes with that twinkle in yours and say, "MINE!"
I learned from you what it means to enjoy a quality life.  That there is beauty in everything and adventure can be found in Paris, your own backyard or in a book.  You and my mom shared your love of antiques and art with me and taught me the importance of reading and educating yourself.  You will always be my role model and my kindred spirit.  I will always stop and smell the roses, hug a tree if I need strength and teach my children to do the same.  The world is a better place because you were in it.  Your legacy will live on as generations pass.  
Every year my family and I will plant a tree in your honor and one day I will be the wise old herbalist, looking up at the stars and reaching down to pick up bird feathers... Even though you used to tell me, "Oh Darlin' Dally, don't ever grow old", if I can do it with as much grace and beauty as you did, I will consider myself fortunate.

My dearest Angel and Daddy, I went to the cemetery today, I cried and cried-seeing your niche in such a mess. All the previous decorations were gone except for the butterflies. I cleaned it up the best I could and I spray painted both your name plaques gold. I worked a long time on it (as you probably know) and redecorated it-Now it is shiny and pretty-with new flowers and a flag since Mama you worked for the navy during WWII. And you were awarded the E pin of excellence. God Bless you-and you are so teeny tiny. I am so proud of you! I am thankful to God that that He chose me to be your daughter. You two are the best parents ever! I have learned all and everything from you.And I thank you with
 all of my heart,my soul and everything within me. And It helped me so much in raising my babies.I appreciate you so so so much! I miss you every second of every day. Also my Aunt Babs. Who was buried on this day-that you Mama flew away to God and Daddy. I love you and miss you- and cannot wait to be with you, God, Jesus and our huge family! My dearest Mama, Well it has been 1 day since your sister, my aunt Babs passed away. You three girls are probably having such a good time! In which I am so happy for you. But it is hard on us girls left behind-It feels like yesterday. God we miss you and our aunties so so much. Long gone are the "good ole' days". Steve was in the hospital but will eventually get better. With prayers. All I do is pray. I am very lonely. Evan is starting his senior year and wow. Life has gone by fast. I am getting ready for school. Yes, I will have my awards out like you told me to moments before you flew away to God while we were speaking on the telephone. Hay there my love Frannie. Wow a year has pasted and I always have you on my mind. You in spiraled me so much on life. It isn't easy but I thank God ever day he is with me. I don't hear from the girls much at all. Really miss them and you every Sept when Tabby would come down it was so great to be around you all. You all are my family and I sure miss that. My dearest Mama-Alex has been found-and our Kathy Longhine MeMe passed away yesterday as you well know-Now my sister Helen's family of 5 children are all gone including Helen and Slim-the whole family. Just can't take a breath-its been one right after another. Gosh I am so sad-and I feel for sister Fran. But I have to believe they are in heaven w/you and daddy. I miss you so much Mama. Nothing is the same without you. I miss our talks...I do still talk to you-can you hear me? I cry a lot too. Amazing that Aunt Babs was buried the day you flew away.
