I didn't have the opportunity to know Stu for long, only about a year and a half.  A colleague had told me that he is her FAVORITE, so I had to see what the fuss is about. Sure enough, this man touched my heart, and his wit and wisdom will live on. Even in his darkest days, he could still muster a smile and laugh. I wish I had known him in his early years, as my old soul would have had a blast with him!

Stu was a great friend,  who will be sadly missed.
When I started MSU, Stu showed me the ropes, later we roomed together ..... the the parties and fun times I'll always cherish.
There were visits to Long Island, which gave me a chance to know his Mom and Dad. Also, trips to NYC where Stu showed me the sites .... what fun !
With Stu, there was always a new adventure around the corner.

We were saddened to hear of Stu’s passing.  We knew Stu in our college years.  He roomed with my brother, Don McLeod, at Michigan State University.  He and Don were known for parties well put together.
Subsequently we as newlyweds moved to Columbia, South Carolina.
Stu arrived for basic training at Fort Jackson.  Stu worked very hard with his platoon mates to earn the weekend off base. We greeted him eagerly in our new surroundings for dinner and kicking back.  It was always so much fun.  Laughter and music reigned.
We have many wonderful memories of our time together and share in his loss.

Al, Stu was a wonderful man and a wonderful friend.  Remember in Rowley (a wicked snow storm) and I went out and made snow angels.  I can still see the two of you looking out the window and laughing.   The three of us had wonderful times together.
Stu will be missed, but he is now at peace and joined with his Mom and Dad.

Al-  I share your sorrow for Stu was a dear friend of mine.  I have been blessed to call you both my neighbors and my friends.  I will always cherish those special times I had with Stu and all the great conversations we had over the years.   He is no longer suffering but is at peace and for that I am eternally grateful.  He'll always be with us - in our hearts and in our thoughts.  Our thoughts are with you and if you need us - just give us a call - we're here for you.
