

Pat was born in Tampa, FL to Louise and Thomas Patrick Nacol, Sr. He was preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Herron and his brother, Ronald A Nacol. He attended Jesuit High School in Tampa, FL, Spring Hill College, Mobile, AL and the University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. He joined the Air Force, was stationed at Williams AIr Force Base for pilot training, and met his future wife, Barbie. They were married for 54 dedicated years and blessed with 3 children, Joshua Patrick Nacol (wife, Aimee and son, Alexander) Zachary Patrick Nacol and Anne Kelly Mitchell (husband, Greg and children Gracie, Sean and Charlie).
Pat was in the Strategic Air Command flying the B-52 and later the C-47. Captain Nacol received the Distinguished Flying Cross for valor in 1969. His business expertise excelled with building health insurance agencies, real estate development and sales. He enjoyed cars, Notre Dame, travel, golf and history. Pat was a devoted Catholic man, who loved his family, his stronghold, the center of his life. His grandchildren were a dimension of happiness that he held dear to his heart. His genuine and charismatic personality, positivity and respect for the beauty of life filled him with gratitude and friends he deeply loved.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 4 at 10:30 a.m. at St John XXIII Catholic Church 13060 Palomino Lane , Ft. Myers, FL 33912
