The oldest son of Kenneth and Eileen Kirkland, Terry is survived by a sister Mary Kirkland and a life partner Karen Marinella. He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brothers Gary and Larry.
Terry started his career in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry as a teenager in Monongahela at the Katamount Lounge, then moved on to the Interchange in Mt. Lebanon. He ended his career in New Jersey as a Dining Room Instructor at Caremes Café in Atlantic Cape Community College. He was known for his immeasurable help and guidance to students after they graduated.
Terry was never boring to anyone who met him. His love for Cars and Life often defined him. He was always ready with a quick comeback during any banter. He made sarcasm an art form!
He will be forever missed and loved by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 29, 2024, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. Luncheon at Somers Point VFW New Jersey.
