Born August 8, 1928 in Cairo, Illinois. Ted was a Private Construction Technician in the army and worked as a Construction, Carpentry and Bridge Foreman during his time of service. After the army, Ted became a Land Surveyor and eventually started his own business; he continued that work until retirement. Ted and both wives loved travel, especially cruises. In addition, they were constant bridge players. He was also an avid and lifelong golfer and loved teaching it to those interested in learning. In later years he became very active at the Lehigh Acres Senior Center and was in charge of the cornhole games. He also loved everything at Fountain Crest Independent Living. His favorite activities were the puzzle room, music program and exercise classes.
