IN THE CARE OF
Hodges-Kiser Funeral Home
Timothy Michael McMullen (Tim) lost his three year battle with kidney cancer and metastasis at 64 years old on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He passed away peacefully at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL (not on his couch as he wished) with his wife, daughter, and sister at his bedside.
Tim was born in Kenosha, WI and grew up in Montvale, NJ with his older brother John and younger sister Robin (Hilker). As a talented shortstop, he played baseball at Florida Southern College and later, for a short time, at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). It was there that he met his wife, Helena, and together they went on to adopt their beloved daughter, Sarah.
Being the private person that he was, he did not wish for a funeral/service, but instead for his ashes to return to the North Georgia mountains where he often camped during his days at UGA, and where he always felt at peace.
The family would like to thank all their relatives and friends for their kind words and caring thoughts; please do not feel the need to send anything more. It is a comfort to know Tim is no longer suffering and is reunited with his parents, good friend, Dave, and his favorite dog, Min. Rest In Peace Tim.
