Sunrise: January 29, 1933 Sunset: July 27, 2020 Tomas was preceded by his wife Luz Maria and his son Edgardo. He is survived by his children Raymond, Tony, Maria Isabel, Tomas Jr. and Maritza. He has been blessed by 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Maria Esmerania, Efrain and Felito; he has countless nephews and nieces who Love Him Dearly. Tomas was a hard working man. In New York, he worked in the public school system as a Porter/Janitor/Maintenance man. He retired and moved to Puerto Rico for multiple years; then decided to relocate at Lehigh Acres for approximately 20 years. His personal business/hobby was making/producing Puertorican instruments such as “Cuatros”, “Maracas”, Guiros” and he repaired “Guitars”. Hobbies: He enjoyed playing dominos and was very competitive - he was really good at it...! But his passion was playing his favorite instrument “The Cuatro”. He will always be remembered for that God Given Gift. Tomas is a great loss for many. He will be remembered and always “Loved”. SIP. There will be graveside service at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery 12777 State Road 82 in Fort Myers at 11 am Monday, August 3, 2020.

I hold beautiful memories of my Tia Luz and Tio Tomas as a girl visiting Puerto Rico. They taught this city girl to feed chickens and not be afraid of them or the lizards & coquis. May they both enjoy paradise together again!!
