William Stewart Lutz

Born on November 15, 1939 to Stewart and Gladys Lutz, Bill was raised in Reading, PA. In 1964 he graduated from Florida State University, where he met Barbara (Turner), his beloved wife of 53 years . He worked for Owens-Corning Fiberglas, from which he retired in 1995. Bill loved playing golf and was a member of the Gateway Golf & Country Club for more than 18 years. He enjoyed playing cards and going out for wing night. Bill loved to watch his FSU "Noles" play football. Most special of all were the years he was able to spend with his family watching his kids and grandkids play all the sports he loved most.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Barbara and his devoted children, Kelly Smith (Scott) of Guilderland, NY and Kevin Lutz (Jennifer) of Delaware, OH and his cousin Linda Conner of Myerstown, PA. "Pa" will be greatly missed by his five grandchildren Ryan, Schyler, Ben, AJ and Addie.

A memorial service and reception to honor and celebrate Bill's life will be held on Monday October 9th at 3 pm at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers.
