William John Stokley

Bill was a proud US Marine Corps and US Army veteran. He was a member of the V.F.W., the Chosin Few, the 1st Marine Division Association, Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the China Marine Association. He will be remembered for his love of country, sense of humor, extensive knowledge of military history and his passion for cars and driving.

He is survived by his children: William J. (Judy) Stokley, Jr. of Rockledge, Florida and Karen E. Stokley (Dr. Sylvain Hantzer) of Spring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Virginia Stokley, his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Stokley and his grandson, Brian James Stokley.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 Fort Myers, FL on Wednesday, November 1st from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name may be made to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation P.O. Box 998, Quantico, VA 22134-0998
