Willie Kent was born on March 25, 1943, in Ft. Myers, FL., to Willie and Fannie Kent. He grew up in Ft. Myers and attended Dunbar High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Fannie Kent, and two brothers, Benjamin and Freddie Kent (Taylor).

Myers, FL; Kesha Nixon of Tampa, FL; Terry Lee Coley of Tampa, FL; intimate friend Coley of Tampa, FL; a loving companion, Mae Miller of Tampa, FL; and a host of grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
