Wilson was born in Jackson, Mississippi on September 25, 1969, to the late Steve Boozer and Mary Boozer. He grew up in Raymond, MS and graduated in 1988 from Central Hinds Academy where he was loved by so many. He attended Mississippi College, as well as Mississippi State University.
Wilson worked in the prosthetics and orthotics field where he took great pride in the work he did and the people he served. He dedicated many years to the business in Alabama, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, North Carolina and Mississippi. He was dedicated not only to giving great service to his clients but giving them back their quality of life.
Standing with Jesus to welcome him into heaven was his father Steve Wilson Boozer, Sr., his grandparents and a host of other close relatives that loved Wilson immensely.
Left to share in his memory is his mother Mary Boozer of Raymond, MS, sisters Janet Butts and her husband Michael of Raymond and Becca Smith and husband Anton Sheppard of Fort Worth, TX. He was also loved by his nieces and nephews Steven Smith(Samantha), Logan Butts, Lynden Bishop (Brett), Lauren Smith (Gabby) and Macey Smith, great nieces and nephews Naomi, Jacob and Payden Smith, Levi and Maggie Bishop and Gracelyn and Maelyn Smith. Wilson also had many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss him greatly.
Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 Wilson knew Jesus. He had called on His name. His body is now whole and not hurting any longer, his mind is not anxious anymore. We are thankful for the time we had with him on this earth and now we celebrate him and his new home in heaven.
Wilson was not a guy who ever wanted the spotlight on him, therefore, to honor his wishes we will have a private family memorial service at a later date. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers that are being lifted on our behalf.
