

She was a courageous warrior princess who's love for all beings extended to even the largest and wildest of animals. Her dream of being a veterinarian and traveling the world to help any and all species was something she spoke about since we can remember. Not only did she love her family but school and reading were one of her favorite past times. She loved bright bold colors with her favorite being teal and rose gold. Yanitza is survived by her parents: Yania Idelfonso and David Benitez Jr; siblings: Jarizel Daviana, Zarianey Yazmine, Giovanni Eugene, Chance Idelfonso, A’viannaliz Davila, Aramiz Josiah, Zi’elly Genesis; grandparents: Janet Orengo, Eugenio Idelfonso, Evangelista Alvarez and David Benitez Sr.; Godparents: Eva Suero and Ivonne Orengo; aunts and uncles: John A. Suero, Terri Morgan, Yesenia Arroyo, Maritza Guzman, Miguel Orengo, Zaida Suero, Anthony O., Kiki, Melanie Ortiz, Madaline Benitez; cousins: Luz Marie Orengo, Sofia Orengo, Geraldine Orengo, Cristian Morgan, Junior Benitez, Ann Martinez, Jayvion L., Jizelle, RJ, and Esteban R., Isaias A. and her teacher Ms. Sabrina.
Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 72, Fort Myers, FL 33913 on Saturday, September 23rd at 1:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 pm.
