Nocatee, Florida — 1940 – 2025
Alton Felix Robertson, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 84, just shy of his 85th birthday. Born in Nocatee, Florida on July 7, 1940, Alton was known for his humor, loving spirit, and hard-working nature. He made everyone around him smile with his good humor and kindness.
Alton attended the University of Florida, earning his degree in hydraulic engineering. A proud Gator, he shared this love for his alma mater with his niece and goddaughter, who also followed in his footsteps.
Alton honorably served as a captain in the United States Navy, a role that reflected his deep sense of duty and service to his country. Outside of his career, he found joy on the water—he loved to sail the seas and held a pilot’s license, enjoying flights in his own plane. He also shared his passion for music as a guitarist with the OV Rockers, a golden oldies band.
Faith was at the center of Alton’s life. He was an active member of his church, serving as an Eucharistic Minister and participating every year in Saint Anastasia Catholic church’s Passion of the Christ play at Easter.
Alton is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his sisters, Helen and Beatrice; his brother, Doyle; his brother-in-law, Xavier, and wife Lucrecia; and nieces Rochelle, Veronica, Maria Isabel, Barbara Jean, Esther Marie, Dale Ray, and Doyle Henry.
May God welcome Alton into heaven, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him and loved him.
